CONFERENCE: POSITIVE LEARNing in the AI Era

The Research and Development Department of Ellinogermaniki Agogi, in collaboration with the National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos”, is organizing a conference on Friday, February 7. This event is part of the European projects “POSITIVE LEARN” and “The Artificial Intelligence-Aware Classroom.” The conference will focus on the positive use of Artificial Intelligence tools in education.

Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way we teach and learn, creating new opportunities to enhance the educational experience. With advanced tools like interactive assistants, adaptive learning systems, and data analysis, teachers can save time and concentrate on the more creative aspects of their work. Personalized learning becomes attainable, as AI applications adjust content to meet each student’s needs, identify learning gaps, and enable timely interventions.

A key theme of the conference is discovering positive interventions that can help reduce stress for both teachers and students. Integrating AI into the educational process can support a more flexible and enjoyable learning environment. Meanwhile, the conference will also address critical issues, such as the ethical use of AI in education and personal data protection, which require careful management and responsible approaches.

The conference will bring together leading experts in Artificial Intelligence and pedagogy from universities in Germany, Finland, and Lithuania, offering a unique opportunity for knowledge exchange, sharing experiences, and discussing innovative educational practices. Through keynote speeches, discussions, and workshops, participants will explore how they can utilize AI tools to enhance teaching and the learning process, while also examining the challenges and opportunities that arise from integrating AI into education.
